Animation
Canes 2025 (no relation to Cannes Film Festival) is a short film festival. The film must be between 3-5 minutes long. Films can be about any subject and created in any medium. I chose to animate in the free frame-by-frame animation software, Krita.
The final film, “GUTS,” took about three months. The process included scripting, storyboarding, and the actual animation. The project was completed in about three months. I enlisted help for sound design and editing. The final animation totaled 527 frames and 4 minutes, 26 seconds.
